We partnered with West Elm to furnish Cardinal with the very best of furniture and amenities to ensure a memorable stay. Located near the Verde River and endless activities: Fishing, hiking, golf, horseback riding, ATV adventures, and more!

Interaction

We fully respect our guest privacy. Should you need help, we are here for you before and during your stay when needed. I’m only a phone call/message away. You will be able to self-check in upon arrival.

Neighborhood

Note our home is in a very quiet neighborhood, extremely sensitive to noise on vacation rentals. Please be extremely respectful to our neighbors with the understanding that amplified music and loud voices are not welcome in this home.

Access

Have full access to them once rented some doors will be locked, you can have the option of renting the casita also

A unique and thoughtfully curated desert home! Next door is the Cardinal Casita, which you can rent separately for more space.

Important things to know about Cardinal:

✫ When you rent out our home, you will have complete privacy. Because the owner lives here part-time, you will notice some personal belongings such as clothes and food. There is also plenty of space for what you might bring.

✫ The Casita and Main house share a driveway.

✫ This is a remote property without many stores. Plan accordingly. There is a Walgreens nearby, however, a grocery store is 20+ minutes away.4

✫ We are located on a dirt road. Expect a little bit of dust during your stay.

✫ Food delivery is sparse, however, a few places deliver in UberEats.

✫ You will need a car to get around. Uber and Lyft are difficult here.

✫ Pest control sprays our home monthly with nontoxic, environmentally friendly chemicals to help keep the bugs away.

✫ We’re preparing for a full remodel in the next couple of years. In the meantime, we’ve decided to share our home with guests even with its imperfections and a handful of (albeit charming) outdated features. Rest assured, we’ve taken care to ensure the home is plenty comfortable and functional for your stay.

We partner with the best cleaners in our area and pay more than the average rate to guarantee a clean and safe place for our guests. All linens are cleaned by off-site professionals. Each guest gets new fresh towels and bedding for each stay.
